The winners of the Broad Ripple Lights Up! contest were announced. Artistic: 6065 Gladden Drive, Outrageous: 6194 Primrose Avenue, and Traditional: 6115 Carrollton Avenue.

The Lights Up! Parade had four categories of awards. Best Use of Lights: Kammy's Kause, Best Show of Community Spirit: Broad Ripple High School Marching Band, Best Walking Group: Woodruff Place Lawn Chair Brigade and Umbrella Chicks, and Best Rolling Unit: JR Walsh Realty.

The entrants in the first parade were American Cancer Society, Barley Island / Jennie DeVoe, The Bike Line, Boogie Burger, Bark Tutor, Broad Ripple Animal Clinic, Broad Ripple Farmers' Market, Broad Ripple Kiwanis Club, Broad Ripple Knits, Broad Ripple Magnet High School Marching Band, Broad Ripple Merchants, Broad Ripple Village Association, Broad Ripple Wellness Clinic ,Caring Dentists, Crackers Comedy Club, Engro.llc, Eve Earley-Chiropractor, James G. Holland, J.R. Walsh Realty, Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Association, Naptown Roller Girls, Qdoba Mexican Grill, State Farm Insurance, Union Jack Pub and Brothers Bar & Grill, Woodruff Place Civic League, Zumba Group / Cesar Acosta.
