The route will be lit by luminarias provided by the American Cancer Society. The parade will include the Broad Ripple High School Marching Band, floats, walking units, and antique cars. Parade entries will be accepted until Friday, December 11.
The festivities at the brightly decorated firehouse will begin at 3 p.m. on December 12th and will include caroling, live reindeer and elves presented by Jingle John, crafts, and free refreshments for kids. Music by Deep River Roots Band will begin at the firehouse at 5:45 pm. Santa and Mrs. Claus will leave the parade route to visit with children in the firehouse's public room. Free rides in horsedrawn carriages will continue until 7:00 p.m.
