The third annual Broad Ripple Music Fest will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2009. The historic Broad Ripple Village will be the canvas for nearly 100 bands, hip hop artists and DJ's performing in a total of 15 local-promoter sponsored showcases.

Free / All Ages Showcases include: Indy CD & Vinyl, Luna Music, ES Jungle, Northside News Cafe, Monon Coffee Company, and La Jolla's Wasted Space.

21+ Ticketed showcases include: Vogue Theatre, Birdy's, Locals Only, Tru, Casba, Alley Cat, Broad Ripple Steak House, and Connor's Pub.

Wristbands can be purchased in advance through the Broad Ripple Music Fest website and at each showcase on Saturday, October 17th.

The mission of the BRMF is to unite the community in which we live, work and escape to. What better way to bring everyone together than with an epic celebration? Proceeds from this year's BRMF will benefit local non-profit partner, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, and will be funneled back into the neighborhood to help keep it clean, green and sustainable.

The festivities begin with a Kickoff Party at the Vogue Theatre on Friday, October 16th featuring the legendary reunited Johnny Socko lineup that broke the band as a national touring and recording act with special guests Mab Lab and Virtual Battle of the Bands winner, Nightjar. Doors open at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $10 advance and $12 at the door. This is a 21 and over / non-smoking event.
