The 2nd Annual Knollfest took place on August 29, 2009, near Butler University on the Berkley Avenue Knoll. Last year the event raised money to benefit several IPS schools. This year Broad Ripple Magnet School for the Arts was the beneficiary. The goal was to raise $1500. Many up-and-coming bands from the area performed. Sponsors of Knollfest included Art with a Purpose, Wuhnurth Entertainment, MIDWESTpeeps, Mousetrap, Jazz Foundation, IndyFringe, NUVO, The Jazz Kitchen, TheHippieSeed.com, IndyMojo, Hidden Relic Productions, and Earth House Collective.
