The Sangha

Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hahn writes of the sangha (the community) in flowery language. The two poems below were inspired by the books of Thich Nhat Hahn. I would like to dedicate them to the sangha of Broad Ripple Village.

that within
that without
a quiet interior
brings forth
a peaceful exterior
the peaceful exterior
emits a loving vibe
in which the sangha
may imbibe

the sangha benefits from
fragrant aroma
oozing forth invisibly
from so many
beautiful flowers
