Here is one for our M-K readers in Midtown. This ad for Pat Dollens Market appeared back in 1950. The market was located at 648 E. 49th Street, near the southwest corner of College Avenue and 49th Street. Today the Uptown Center with Paw Patch and City Dogs Grocery is at that corner (in 2009).
