DOG GONE GOOD WINE
BLACK DOG, Madison Vineyards, Indiana-Sweet, soft, red wine with great photo of wine dog pasted (the affable Burt) on the front label and current wine dog (Hoppy) on the back. Enjoy with sweet BBQ pork or sloppy Joe's or Chili-Cheese Dogs. (No disrespect to either of the fine wine dogs of Madison Vineyards)
YARD DOG WINES, Australia-Two blends from down under with a "ruff" edge but biscuit addicting flavor blend. You gotta love the humor of the Aussies and the wines are nothing to growl at...
Yard Dog White-features a pale "taco bell" dog wearing the cumbersome Elizabethan Collar. Blend is both sweet yet crisp. Fill your water bowl with it as often as possible.
Yard Dog Red-Another blend with label of a dog fightin' dog-he's ruff and ready-yet offers great payoff for those who bet on him. More bark than bite with this dry bold red wine.

Don't Be A Turkey: Gulpers for Gobblers
Dry Creek Vineyards Chenin Blanc, California-crisp, fresh white with inviting citrus nose and silky flavors of mango, honeydew melon.
A Mano Moscato, Italy-Softly sweet, pretty, white with tropical fruit nose and lush, fruity flavors of tangerine, papaya and honey kissed vanilla cream.
Philip Bernard Pinot Noir, Germany-Elegant, dry medium bodied red with sensuous nose of violets and multi layered flavors of wild strawberry, black cherry.

And In The Cultural Districts...
By Casey Jo Ailes
The Domont Gallery in Downtown Indy is currently hosting a different show for this contemporary art gallery, "Art's Gone to the Dogs", with guest curator Jennifer Complo McNutt from the Eiteljorg bringing in thirteen dog loving artists to fill the space with their take on the dog world. With more then 17 pieces of dog art and an eye pleasing limestone sculpture by David Shipley this makes the gallery scene a bit more light hearted, even if you are not an admirer of man's best friend, this small collection is one to this month.
Have you ever wondered what dogs do when you are not around? "Cross Dressing Dogs" the calendar, a great gift for the Holidays! To pick up your copy today visit the Mass Ave Wine Shoppe or www.photosbycaseyjo.com. (The models were not harmed doing these photo shoots.)
