My presentation of last issue's Letters to the Editor may have been confusing. In the text of the letter from reader Ronald Popp I added editorial comments for historical interest. Editorial comments are added in square brackets [] while original comments by the writer are in curved brackets (). For example, when I added "[my grandmother]" after "Mrs. Hague" I was telling readers that Mr. Popp was referring to my grandmother Helen Dawson Hague.
