Meridian Kessler Home Tour
posted: Jul. 04, 2008

This year's tour was attended by more than 1,700 people. Despite the occasional outburst of weather, this is a great success. In addition, it takes close to 200 neighborhood volunteers to make the tour possible.
The Friday night Twilight Tour, themed a Walk on the Wild Side, was a huge success! The event sold out and the silent auction raised $11,000 that will be granted to local nonprofits.
Homes that were on the day tour:
  • Home of Julie O'Brien & David Stahl 5265 N. Meridian St.
  • Home of Grace and Marsh Davis 3947 N. Delaware
  • Home of JB & Suzann Lupton 4520 N. Broadway
  • Home of Angie Lane 125 E. Beverly
  • Home Howard & Jenni Egger 5026 N. Washington Blvd.
  • Home of Mary Anne & Larry Schlagenhauf 5507 N. Central Ave.
  • Home of John & Erin Miller 5524 N. Central Ave.
  • The Stauffer Home 5860 Washington Blvd.
  • Home of Lou & Barbara Coury 5886 Washington Blvd.
  • Home of Leslie & Jacopo (Jac) Leonardi 5697 N. Pennsylvania
"The continued success of the tour is extremely vital so the neighborhood association can continue to ensure our community remains a vibrant city leader. So, first and foremost, a huge thank you to the home and garden owners. Those who attend do so because of your magnificent homes," said Jessica Albaugh, the 2008 Home Tour Chair.
"It takes an army of volunteers to deliver a such a large Tour. Every aspect of the tour is planned, coordinated and conducted by a core group of volunteers. In addition, each home on the Tour typically has 10 -15 volunteer positions per day plus two home hosts. Thank you to this great group of volunteers."
"And certainly, I want to thank our wonderful sponsors, including our Premier sponsor Angie's List and our two Flagship sponsors, Citizens Gas and 92.3 WTTS. We greatly appreciate your continued support."
"We hope you enjoyed our homes and our neighborhood, and welcome you back next year!"
