Got a passion for footwear? Well, if your foot-fetish is seeking fresh material, check out Got Sole on College Avenue just south of the Vogue, at 6243 N. College Avenue. With a very street-inspired atmosphere, this store has the perfect things for your feet --- shoes, of course!

The shoes are displayed along two brick walls, and some of the specimen could truly be works of art. Funky colors and designs are just at the surface of the shoes you'll see. They have black and white shoes, but you'll see more yellows, reds, blues, greens, and hot pinks than you'll see in a Disney cartoon. And these sneakers aren't plain, either. They have straps, cool strings, neat logos, and paint-like crackle effects on the leather, crocodile effects, and cool designs on the soles, cool material collages and unique uses of different (unexpected) types of fabric.

Got Sole has all the popular street cred brands of sneakers: Nike Jordan, Adidas, DC Life, Puma, Lacoste, Sneaktip, Crooks & Castles, Lemar & Dauley, Akomplice, Bonafide Icon and more. They also have a few clothing options - t-shirts and the like. You can find Rocksmith tees and sweaters and hoodies, DC Life hats, Dope Couture t-shirts (worn by some famous pop stars!), and Sneaktip tees - including my favorite one that says "I got 99 problems, but my kicks ain't one." I love Jay-Z.

Kicks won't be your problem either when you start shopping at Got Sole. While most of the sneakers are for me, there are about ten or so pairs of equally cool and stylish women's sneakers by the same brands, including some awesome zebra striped high tops (I guess men could wear these, too), and some various pairs incorporating hot pink.
