The Indiana Speed, Indiana's team in the Women's Professional Football League, had their season opener at Broad Ripple High School on August 18, 2007. The ladies were victorious over the Minnesota Vixen, with a score of 16-0. The team formed in 2002 with the goal of helping young girls in the athletic world. Keep an eye out for a future in-depth article on the ladies of the gridiron. The next home game on the BRHS field will be September 15, 2007.
