Random Rippling - Dog Days of Summer
posted: Jul. 27, 2007
Old National Bank, located at 6135 College Avenue, hosted the Dog Days of Summer on July 14, 2007. Broad Ripple Animal Clinic, Three Dog Bakery, Puppy Playground, City Dogs Grocery and Humane Society of Indianapolis had information booths for attendees. The visiting dogs enjoyed "meeting" each other and enjoyed some treats. The most entertaining encounter was between a huge dog and a teeny dog. Although the teeny one would have been like an hors d'oeuvre for the big dog, they got along great.
Two swimming pools, a big one and a small one, let the dogs cool off and play. Most of the dogs lapped up the water or jumped out, but one dog loved it and leapt high in the air to catch every splash of water from his owner.
Donations collected at the event went to the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Visit their website at www.indyhumane.org.
