"I call it 'Jesus with skin on,'" Bryan Nicholson, pastor at Rockhouse Ministries, said. "The food is free like God's grace is free."
Rockhouse Ministries sponsors Free-food Fridays every week in the Good Earth parking lot.
Since May, Nicholson and several other volunteers have been setting up a free food stand every Friday evening from 8:30 pm to midnight in Good Earth's parking lot (in 2007). Though they are not a traditional food stand with hot food, they serve pre-packaged chips, bottled water and canned sodas for free with the opportunity to do two free hot meals a year.

"Our biggest [food product] is probably Dr. Pepper and Cheetos," Nicholson said. "[We serve] everyone from the bridge kids to people going to bars, everyone. There's no specific crowd that comes.
"Our goal is, by Spring next year, to do a Saturday night service plus the free food [in addition to the Friday night free food]."
