Letter to the editor
I almost stayed home Sunday evening (May 6th). I used many excuses not to attend the Northminster Presbyterian Church Sight and Sound presentation of "A Mozart Celebration."
- I would have to get dressed presentably
- I might miss something on television
- No one to go with
I am so glad I changed my mind. Words cannot describe it. Unbelievable would come closest to it. I was in a state of wonderment during the performance.
All the participants used their God-given talents to bring a sense of calm and enjoyment in our troubled world.
I drove home with a feeling of serenity and thankfulness that the really great music still exists and it wasn't even dark yet!
