Vintage Indiana originated as a wine and food festival but eight years later its grown into one of the summer's best festivals to enjoy music, art, cooking and oh yes, WINE.

I will be doing my usual bit hosting the cooking demos and wine tasting at the Vintage Indiana Wine and Food Pavilion where cutting edge cuisine mixes with the latest offerings from some of Indiana's most established and award winning wineries.

Here's the lineup:

• Noon - Chef Tyler Herald of 6 Restaurant and bar cooks up the dishes made from fresh, local produce and product found at Indianapolis area Farmers' Markets.
• 1:30 - Spa Cuisine - Chefs from The Villa Inn and Spa in historic downtown Indy lavish you with food and fun that almost seems too good to be good for you.
• 3:00 - Seductive food and wine - The Mass Ave Wine Shoppe serves up Shaffer's' Seductive Sticky Buns - a finger licking sensation of freshly made, pecan studded, cinnamon enhanced and caramel iced addiction. The Indy Wine Trail offers its latest tastes to enhance your sweet dreams.
• 4:00 - Picnic on the Indiana Uplands Wine Trail - The state's first and oldest wine trail will draw the winner of its "passport" contest. That person takes home a $700 Wine Storage unit.

Plus the Mass Ave Wine Shoppe offers a tasting plate of lush, savory European meats and cheeses with Rene's bakery breads. Mmmmmmm.
