Random Rippling - Nov. Dulcimer Society Meeting at Lutheran Church - 52nd and Central Avenue
posted: Nov. 17, 2006
The scheduled guests, Phil and Ann Case were unable to perform due to illness. The business portion of the meeting was conducted expeditiously and then several members performed for the group.
The theme for this month was "Food and Drink" which led to several amusing and some traditional selections such as "Mountain Dew." Sandra Grouper even performed children's favorite "On Top of Spaghetti" with vocal and dulcimer.
In honor of Veterans Day, Gary Kiser performed a stunning rendition of "America the Beautiful" on 6 string acoustic guitar, drawing extended applause from the gathering.
