Random Rippling - CCI walk on the Monon Trail
posted: Jul. 28, 2006
Several CCI (Canine Companions for Independence) dogs (including The Gazette's own Ruiz) and their trainers gathered in front of the fire station for a walk on the Monon Trail and dinner at Plump's Last Shot. The groups gets together from time to time to allow the puppies to gain experience in a new activity. The next outing will be to an Indianapolis Indians game.
The CCI dogs in training always wear the yellow and blue vest to show that they are working. Although it is difficult to do, working dogs are supposed to be ignored by the public.
