Random Rippling - Music at Indy CD
posted: Jun. 30, 2006
Rick Zeigler hosted a great day of music on June 17, at Indy CD and Vinyl. AnApparatus, Russian Circles, and ari.ari. performed in the afternoon. Stephen Cooley played that evening. These free, all-ages shows are fantastic. Watch the Gazette calendar for them or sign up for the email reminders by emailing rick@broadripplegazette.com
AnApparatus just about blew the roof off of Indy CD and Vinyl. Russian Circles, a national act from Chicago, played a heavy/psychedelic set. Many of the songs were from their CD Enter (great CD!). Local band ari.ari. has a female singer, Jilly Weiss, that was all over the store. She was interesting and frightening at the same time. These bands put on an amazing show!

Mike Sullivan, Colin DeKuiper, and Dave Turncrantz are Russian Circles. Note guitarist Mike Sullivan's impressive effects board.
