On Earth Day, Sunflower Market (1021 Broad Ripple Avenue) gave their customers a special treat. Hand-decorated shopping bags were mixed in at the checkout lanes. Approximately 400 students from Park Tudor entered the Earth Day Decorate A Bag contest. The finalist's bags were displayed on the wall of the store. The rest of the bags were used by customers. The first place prize was awarded to third grader Olivia Buroker.
