The Indianapolis Art Center is busy preparing for the annual Broad Ripple Art Fair that will be held 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. on Saturday, May 20, and 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Sunday, May 21, 2006. In the last issue of the Gazette we included an entry form for a free pair of tickets. The deadline for entries is May 15. (HINT: The answer to the history question was in that issue's crossword puzzle!)

The Art Fair features 225 juried artists from the U.S. and Canada. Live entertainment, including local favorites Jennie DeVoe and Cynthia Layne, will be featured on four stages throughout the fair. The food court will offer a variety of tasty foods and drinks.

Free parking is available at Broad Ripple Park, Broad Ripple High School, and the east overflow lot at Glendale Mall. Complimentary shuttle buses will run from 9:30 A.M. until one hour after the close of the art fair. Bicycles can be safely parked in the complimentary bike corral on the Monon Trail.
