In the last issue of the Gazette, Heidi mentioned that the Barrantes family was in Indianapolis to visit Hubbard & Cravens Coffee Company. Marcie Hubbard invited me to join them for a cupping at the Hubbard and Cravens roaster facility on East 52nd Street. At a cupping, several coffees are evaluated as if they were in a coffee competition. This allowed the Barrantes family to see how their coffee compared to other varieties.
