Artifacts Announces Exhibition of Lydia Gerbig-Fast's Jewelry
posted: May 13, 2005
Lydia Gerbig-Fast's work includes one-of-a-kind rings, earrings, necklaces, brooches and tiaras which reflect her inspiration from classical art and botanical forms. Designing and producing each piece by hand, she achieves a blend of the ancient and modern to enhance the wearer.
Her new work was created with support from the Indiana Arts Commission, which awarded her an Individual Artist Fellowship Grant in 2004. She is a repeat recipient of this grant, which recognizes and honors outstanding artists.
The exhibition is part of the Broad Ripple Spring Gallery Tour on Friday, May 13, from 6pm to 9pm. Artifacts is located at 6327 Guilford Avenue.
Artifacts offers an extensive selection of contemporary craft objects by American artists including jewelry, art glass, ceramics, wood and wearables.
