"We had been talking about it for several years. We both have backgrounds in writing and met at the University Illinois and have worked in different fields. I was in academia and Max worked in commercial construction. It was something that we have been shooting for a while and this space came open. We found this spot and stuff started happening pretty quickly after that," Sara explained.

The initial community response has been a page turner. Sara noted, "In this outing together, we found the spot and had a vision of how the store would look like and the books that it would carry and the ability to execute that vision. We wanted this to be a family friendly bookstore. Finding the titles have been fulfilling and fun. Every person in the neighborhood has been happy to stop by. There has been a lot of enthusiasm from the Midtown Community is where we wanted to be."
Max said, "We got as close to our vision as we could. It looks like a good synergy between us and Luna Music, like a natural marriage with music and books".
