I have always been terrible at Math. At Ball State in 1988 I was forced to take a re-remedial math class in order for me to begin taking regular math classes. Re-remedial! And I barely passed!
Anyway, the poem below is a tribute to math.

the Math

In the beginning
was the Math...
And the Math
pushed into
existence Physics...
And Physics
sparked confidence
in Music, Art,
Dance, et al...

In fact, this poem
is brought to you
by the Math.
