The poem/rambling thought below makes a suggestion for reconsideration of patterns and habits which may hem us in along the way:

Breaking Patterns

a natural inclination
to seek liberation
though hemmed in by habits
formed thru personal freedom
inhibit mobility
and limit utility
of the higher good
to self and others
so breaking patterns
may allow movement
for stretching arms
and legs and things
and cause some loosening
for seldom-used wings
