I made two references to individuals in the poem below. Jackson Pollock made a name for himself by dripping paint onto his canvases. e.e.cummings was a poet who wrote in lower case.

the intended art
bleeds black
from my pen
at my own given
speed and caprice
at times
i feel like
jackson pollock
on paper
