Poetic Thoughts - A Calm Center - by C.W. Pruitt II

Being bipolar steers me toward the soft mellow path. That path assists my mental health and I have grown to value it. I enjoy listening to jazz with nag champa incense burning while doing art. Reading Buddhist literature, or the Tao Te Ching, or The Sermon On The Mount are also quite soothing.
Below is a poem which describes the mellow middle:
A Calm Center
to find a calm center
a cool spot like jazz
to enjoy the mellow buzz
without depression or elation
to remain true to love
without overarching attachment
to be gently in the moment
