Frog's Random Rippling - Bill Brink annual rememberance
posted: Nov. 19, 2020
November 15th 2011, Broad Ripple lost our Bill Brink. If you go down the Monon trail from 65th Street North I'm sure you've seen the Bill Brink Memorial Garden. If you go in the shelter and read about Bill you'll think "my what a legacy this man left." However that is only the beginning. His True Legacy is that every year on November 12th, his birthday, this year being his 72nd, a group of his friends gather at 6:30 p.m. at Plump's Last Shot, 6416 Cornell Avenue [D5 on
map], in Broad Ripple to raise a glass and toast our cowboy. To me a man's True Legacy is the friends and lives that he has touched on this Earth that has never forgotten him long after he's gone from their sight.
As Judge, Tom Cobb broke the seal of a bottle of your Maker's Mark. Just know, in spite of COVID, we were here for you.
