Desiree stopped by the Broad Ripple Tavern lemonade stand on her way to work at Kilroy's in Broad Ripple on Saturday June 2nd, 2018. Joe Smith with the Broad Ripple Tavern served her and I an ice cold glass of lemonade to help support Ella Whistler, the 13-year-old shot at Noblesville West Middle School. These "Ella's Aid" stands were all over the state to raise money to help with the massive hospital bills. This one in our Village is sponsored by the BRT and WFMS Radio "The Country Music Station" 95.5FM. All proceeds from the lemonade sales and donations go directly to Ella's medical costs. We are all praying for a quick and full recovery for her and her family.
