Three men, a father and 2 sons, drove to Indiana from Pennsylvania Friday August 14, 2015. Not to see the great Indiana State Fair, but for them, something twice as great. The coaches came to see the memorabilia at Plump's Last Shot. When they arrived and told me why they made the trip, unknown to them I made a quick phone call and the big man himself graciously drove to the restaurant to surprise the trio. After a delicious giant tenderloin they met the Basketball Hall of Fame member and left with smiles, full bellies, and autographed memorabilia and pictures in hand. It was a great afternoon to tell their teams back home.
