Frog's Random Rippling - "Bill's Garden" planted in honor of Brink
posted: Jun. 08, 2012
On November 15, 2011 Broad Ripple and the World lost a great friend. He was touted as "The Mayor of Broad Ripple" by all of his friends and acquaintances. D. William (Bill) Brink was loved and touched by all he met. He left us with not only a legacy of "WILD BEAUTY" but a request that was passed down at his memorial service at the Riviera Club on that bleak day last November. "Sow these Echinacea Purpurea (Purple Cone Flower) seeds in celebration of Bill" Wish granted !!! Here Jonathan Plum, Katherine Hinshaw, and Frog plant them in "Bill's Garden" at Plump's Last Shot at 6416 N. Cornell Avenue [D5 on map] ~~~R.I.P. Bill, your Flowers will live on in many yards, Parks and especially in the Broad Ripple that you loved so much.
